Heather Dillard, M.A., LPC, has a Master's Degree in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. She specializes in working with adult women, teen girls, and children. She is a Practitioner in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), a trauma-informed care model that empowers parents and caregivers in building secure attachments with their children. Heather uses these tools in working with foster, adoptive, and blended families. She also has experience working with teens and adults who struggle with eating disorders, self-harm, or who have experienced trauma. Heather's counseling comes from a biblically-based perspective. She believes that God's kingdom can come into our lives in simple, practical ways if we are willing to invite Him. Heather enjoys reading and baking, and recently wrote the book Sacred Tenacity: 56 Days of Practicing Perseverance and Embracing God's Faithfulness, which will release in April 2019.
