Kelsey Karon

Kelsey Karon M.A., LPC, graduated with her Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.  She believes that with her diverse life experiences that counseling and empowering others is her ministry.  She counsels individuals, couples and families of all ages.  Her passion is working with adolescents and young adults in order to help individuals figure out their adult identity  and help them through life's obstacles.  Kelsey leads an adolescent girls group therapy called #[email protected]  This group is intended for girls ages 14 to 18 and is filled with creativity, laughter, therapeutic activities and self-reflection. She also enjoys working with individuals that have survived traumatic events in their lives. Kelsey is trained in Trauma Focussed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is currently pursuing national  certification.  Kelsey believes that God uses the difficulties of life to produce perseverance, character and a deeper faith in individuals.  Using a Biblical Worldview, she can help her clients move from brokenness and pain to a place of peace.  She has two fur-babies- one who is a Sheltie named Piper who is a certified therapy dog.  Piper may be requested for animal assisted therapy if desired.
