Sarah McDowell, M.A., LPC-S, co-owner of Shiloh Counseling Services, has a Master's Degree in Family Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, and holds a certification in Primary Care Behavioral Health. She has significant experience working with children with behavioral problems and loves to teach parents behavioral modification techniques. Often there is fighting and discord in the home between parents and offspring; Sarah works with families to bring about peace and loving relationships. She also enjoys assisting couples through marital therapy to live a fulfilled life together. Sarah is skilled in family therapy, couples therapy, and individual therapy. The foundation of Sarah’s counseling philosophy springs from the belief that all human beings are on a spiritual journey here on earth, and God uses our experiences and struggles to draw us closer to Him. Sarah herself is happily married and has two energetic children, and is an active member of her church family.
